Prime Time Players and Mark Henry defeated The New Day
First off, is Mark Henry a heel or face? Each week, it is something different. Tonight was a really good outing by both teams. I really wanted to see The New Day win. They continue to pile up meaningless losses and have provided good contests. What does this do to the tag team division? Where are the contenders? Titus and Darren are only as good as the competition given to them. Currently, it is just average.
The match featured some really good spots. Titus is such a horse in the ring and explodes on contact. He runs through his opponents, not into them. Darren is a smart wrestler, but fails to really stick out in my mind in a weekly basis. He needs more flash in his offense.
Logic says that New Day wins and gets momentum for a match at SummerSlam. Logic was thrown out of the window tonight, albeit a fun and entertaining match that took place on Smackdown.
Stardust defeated Zack Ryder
Stardust and Ryder exchange blows back and forth, but Ryder gets the upper hand after a missile dropkick. He fires some shots at his face and then hits a Broski Boot. He tries to connect with a Rough Ryder, but Stardust counters. He is able to hit his finisher and pick up the win.
After the match, he talks about Steven Amell and wanting him to be his hero. Let me open this question up to you, the reader.
