Dolph Speaks From The Heart
Dean Ambrose talks about how Dolph Ziggler has never had the desire to be champion and to be successful under pressure. MizTV featured how both men react and how both men connect. Dean says the pressure is on him and says that he will not take his championship away from him, telling him he will be embarrassed and beaten down like a child. He says Dolph has never wanted it bad enough.
Dolph says that Dean has no idea who he is and is not in his head. He says he knows how good Dolph Ziggler is and how he will steal the show. Dolph says it will not be enough to put him down and he does not have enough to put him down, talking about clawing and bleeding to beat Dolph. He says Dean will be digging and looking for one last move, and then Dolph hits a superkick onto him.
The emotion and intensity from both men sold me for the match. Both men are doing just enough to really make it feel personal, make it feel that Dean is a bully and Dolph is a vast underdog. We needed to see the next level of Dolph Ziggler and we got it. The promo was spot on and his kick was what needed to happen. They are blurring the lines of heel and face, which is perfect for both men. Great stuff.
Team Team Showcase
Hype Bros hit some big moves on Breezango, while the action picks up. Jimmy and Jey hit superkicks to Fandango and Simon Gotch. They fly ot the outside and all men are down. Gable and Jordan hit their finishers and all of the faces pick up the victory.
This was a big tag team match with 6 tag teams. Isn’t it crazy that Smackdown does not have the tag team championships, but have more overall depth in this division? The Uso’s are credible, while Hype Bros has a nice connection to the crowd. American Alpha is just getting started and are going to be the faces of a tag team division for many years to come. You saw the good and bad from the division, one that might need a floating championship and NOT a separate pair of titles. The action was fun, but not important.
