Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown Live “5 Feuds For John Cena”

As we witnessed on the Fourth of July, John Cena is back and is a free agent in WWE. This means that he will be appearing on RAW and Smackdown Live for the foreseeable future and this begs the question of “who will John Cena feud with?” First up is Rusev, but we have already seen this before. I do not expect to see this feud carry on longer than WWE Battleground and think that there are many more options for Cena. Here are the 5 feuds for John Cena upon his return to WWE.

Number 5: Baron Corbin

Mr. Money in the Bank is currently feuding with Shinsuke Nakamura and will most likely pick up a loss against him at WWE Battleground. Why? He has a briefcase and most holders of that briefcase are booked to get others over because they can become champion in the snap of your fingers. This should ring true, but what about after Nakamura? I think Nakamura will be heading up the ladder to either Kevin Owens or the World Champion after SummerSlam and this leaves one of the most natural heels in today’s world without a dance partner. Enter: John Cena. What would be a better way to see if Corbin can really carry a show and a feud than by pairing himself with John Cena? The level of physicality in the feud, along with Corbin really learning from the best, can only help him and help John Cena work with a fresh heel.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
