Brock Lesnar Wins The Universal Championship At WWE Crown Jewel

Brock Lesnar is once again the reigning and defending Universal Champion after beating Braun Strowman for the title at WWE Crown Jewel.

Brock won the title after hitting five F-5’s, but he started the match with some unlikely (and surprising) assistance from RAW General Manager Baron Corbin.

Before the bell, Corbin hit Braun Strowman from behind with the Universal Championship, and yelled at Brock to go after his downed opponent. Brock hit four F-5’s, including one that sent Strowman outside, but Braun beat the count and made it back into the ring. Braun then attempts to attack Brock, but Brock ends up knocking him down and hits a fifth and final F-5 to make the cover.

Brock Lesnar is now a two-time Universal Champion, making him the only two time winner of this title. Lesnar’s first reign with the title lasted 504 days; he won at Wrestlemania 33 and held the championship all the way through Summerslam 2018.
