Daniel Cormier has been in the minds of pro wrestling fans ever since he and Brock Lesnar had the confrontation inside the Octagon at UFC 226. Daniel Cormier has been open about trying out for an analyst role with the WWE, a tryout which had to be put on hold due to his most recent UFC fight coming at such short notice, and he’s also been open about the potential Brock Lesnar match being his final fight in the Octagon.

Last night at UFC 230 in Madison Square Garden, Daniel Cormier made UFC history by becoming the first double champion to successfully be able to defend both championships when he successfully tapped out Derrick Lewis. However, it’s what happened after the fight that has UFC fans and WWE fans talking.

During the traditional post-fight interview, Daniel Cormier once again spoke about the potential Lesnar fight being his retirement bout and then he referenced the Universal Championship itself in a video that you can see below:

“Brock Lesnar, when you come, bring that brand new WWE title too. I feel like being a WWE Champion too. Let’s go, let’s go Brock. Bring that belt with you if you come to my house.”

So, what do you think about the potential of Brock Lesnar becoming a dual Champion across WWE and UFC and what do you think about the potential of Daniel Cormier stepping into the squared circle and possibly taking the Universal Championship? Sound off in the comments below.
