The night started off with soul train Jones aka Virgil in the ring introducing Chris Jericho for his Thanksgiving celebration complete with mascots, gifts and much more. Jericho introduced the Inner Circle who presented him with gifts including a tremendous Puerto Rican gift basket courtesy of Santana and Ortiz. Sammy Guevara gave Jericho a cardboard cutout of them hugging, and Jake Hager presented Jericho with a goat named Chris Jerigoat. Chris Jericho’s father was also there and got in on the action. perhaps most importantly though, Chris Jericho revealed his own brand of champagne called A Little Bit Of The Bubbly.

This would ultimately lead to Justin Roberts reading a thank you note from management and getting roughed up from the Inner Circle because they didn’t like his tone. SCU would make the save setting the stage nicely for later.

Tony Schiavone is not there tonight so taking his place is somebody courtesy of the All Elite Fleet and State Farm.

Best Friends vs. Lucha Bros

The Best Friends make their entrance and Orange Cassidy is wearing a Turkey outfit because of Thanksgiving. The Lucha Brothers attacked their opponents from behind before they could get into the rain but ultimately Chuck and Trent would recover nicely. Orange Cassidy would hit a dive just to prove that turkeys can fly.

The Lucha Brothers would gain control and hit stereo superkicks before the show would go to commercial. Ultimately, The Best Friends would get the upset victory when Trent hit his air raid drop pinning Fenix.

WINNER: BEST FRIENDS

Up next is women’s Tag Team action.

Emi Sakura and Bea Priestley vs. Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida.

This bout featured some goofy action during the commercial break where the referee participated in a dosey-doe with Sakura and accidentally hit Shida. Priestley and Sakura won when Emi utilized the microphone stand for an unfair advantage and got the pin with a cradle.

WINNER: Sakura and Priestley

A great Jon Moxley vignette aired

Cody vs. Matt Knicks

The Freelance Wrestling veteran was able to score some offense with some shots to the ribs but Cody Rhodes would eventually tap him out with the figure four leg lock and quit fashion.

WINNER: Cody.

After the match, Cody was attacked by two newcomers, The Butcher and The Blade who will be apparently managed by Allie, who is once again going by The Bunny. The butcher has a monocle. Awesome.

PAC vs. Kenny Omega

A good back-and-forth encounter. Ultimately, PAC would miss The Black Arrow and be rolled up by Kenny Omega for the victory. The announce team put over that this may be the end to Kenny’s slump.

WINNER: KENNY OMEGA

MJF vs. Adam Page

Prior to the match, hangman said in a video that he’s not much of a ring guy but he will shove the diamond ring up MJF’s ass. Some interference from Wardlow and a CrossRhodes, which Jim Ross called The Double Cross secured the win and the diamond ring for Maxwell Jacob Friedman.

WINNER: MJF

After the match, Diamond Dallas Page presented MJF with the ring and tried to shake his hand after reprimanding him for his recent actions but MJF didn’t go for it.DDP got in the face of MJF but Wardlow stepped in between to protect his man.

Dustin Rhodes did an interview saying that he was coming for Jake Hagar’s blood. The rest of the Inner Circle showed up and Dustin got some help from Matt and Nick Jackson. They will all do action in six-man tag team fashion next week.

A Dark Order vignette aired.

CHRIS JERICHO vs. SCORPIO SKY

Walls of Jericho attempt did not score the victory for Jericho as Sky was able to get to the ropes. Jake Hager shows up even though all seconds were banned from ringside because it’s AEW and they don’t care about rules. SCU shows up minutes later. Great near fall on a TKO from Scorpio.

Codebreaker also couldn’t get the job done for Chris. The announce team hasn’t been calling the Codebreaker lately so I wonder if that’s a copyright issue. Another attempt at the walls of Jericho and Sky taps.

WINNER and STILL CHAMPION: Chris Jericho.

Moxley showed up at the end of the night to confront Jericho.
