Last week on WWE RAW Dolph Ziggler essentially begged for one final opportunity at the WWE Championship. Ziggler even said that champion Drew McIntyre could choose absolutely any stipulation and he would not complain.
McIntyre accepted the match and it was made official before the end of RAW. According to a new report published by WWE themselves today, things have changed.
WWE now says, “WWE Champion Drew McIntyre agreed to face Dolph Ziggler in a non-title rematch, but this time, he gets to choose the stipulation.” This conflicts with recent indications that it would be a WWE Championship match. There is no word on why this match will now be a non-title match.
