Report: Rhea Ripley Moving To New WWE Brand ‘Imminently’

Rhea Ripley is moving to another WWE brand very soon.

According to a report in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer claims Ripley’s loss to Raquel Gonzalez in the Last Woman Standing match at NXT New Year’s Evil was designed to write her off of NXT TV.

On, Thursday, PWInsider.com also reported Ripley was believed to be transitioned to either RAW or SmackDown after the loss to Gonzalez. Meltzer added more, noting the loss “was to write her off the show” and Ripley would be moving to a new brand “imminently.”

While she’s never been an official member of either roster, Rhea Ripley has appeared on RAW and SmackDown before to promote her respective appearances at Survivor Series 2019 and WrestleMania 36.
