WWE Trademarks ‘Ben Carter’ And Three Other Ring Names

WWE has filed for four new trademarks.

The latest trademark filings, made on January 7th, seem to be three apparent ring names for brand-new superstars.

On Friday, January 8th, WWE filed trademarks for “Ben Carter,” “Tony Gill,” “Joshua Bruns,” and “Tino Sabbatelli.” All four trademarks were filed with the following intended uses in mind:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

Tony Gill is the former Gursinder Singh from IMPACT Wrestling, Tino spent some time in AEW during a brief hiatus from WWE last year, Joshua Bruns is the real name of Josh Briggs and Ben Carter just debuted on NXT UK.
