In-Ring Segment: Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman
Reigns says he hears Kevin Owens is going to deliver a message to him tonight. No, he’s not. We aren’t going to see Owens tonight because Reigns says so. Owens and Adam Pearce think they got one over on him but they didn’t. Reigns says “card subject to change” is for losers. Pearce claims to be hurt, every part of Reigns’s hurts. Maybe Reigns should say the same. Maybe he’s too hurt from carrying this company for years.
Pearce walks to the ring and says this is too much. Reigns calls Pearce Owens’ bitch. If Pearce is Owens; bitch, he most certainly is Reigns’ as well. Heyman snickers in the background. Pearce says he has to take the disrespect from Reigns but he damn sure doesn’t have to take it from Heyman. Reigns tells Heyman not to take that. Heyman tells Pearce that he’s from New York and he’ll beat Pearce’s ass. Heyman challenges Pearce to a match. Pearce says it’s official.
Sami Zayn stomps down to the ringside area with his film crew. Zayn handcuffs himself to the barricade.
After the break, Zayn announces that he is declaring for this year’s Royal Rumble. Zayn starts to rant about losing to Apollo Crews last week. Asuka’s music hits and she walks out on the ramp. She is soon joined by Charlotte Flair, as Zayn looks on appalled.
