Cry All You Want About The Miz’s Title Win, Your Tears Are The Fuel That Lights His Fire

The Miz told you so!

WWE Digital caught up with the new WWE Champion after his surprise cash-in at Elimination Chamber on Sunday night. The Miz was in no mood to field questions, but he did share his thoughts and called out all of the people that have doubted him—now and during his first title win ten years ago.

“Understand that I told you so! When someone says that I wasn’t thinking on their level, I am a master strategist and I think further than anybody else in all of WWE. I didn’t just take respect, I demanded it through all of the WWE Universe and I could [sic] care less if everyone’s on the internet going, ‘Aww Miz doesn’t deserve it. Miz shouldn’t be WWE Champion…’ CRY! Go ahead and cry and keep on doing it, because that is the fuel that lights my fire. I am your WWE Champion whether you like it or not.”

“Ten years ago, we had an ‘Angry Miz Girl’ and I hope and I pray that there are thousands of thousands upon thousands, millions of ‘Angry Miz Girls’ right now sobbing and weeping, wishing that Drew McIntyre was still their WWE Champion. He is not, I am. So this is me saying I am now content being awesome. See you at WrestleMania… or at Monday Night RAW, whichever I feel like, because I’m champion and I do whatever the hell I want.”
