Dalton Castle Wants To Help ROH Win A Golden Globe

Former Ring of Honor World Champion Dalton Castle has announced that he’s officially entering the company’s Television Championship division. In a video posted on Ring of Honor’s YouTube channel, Castle explained that he wants to be on ROH television more so he can make the product more interesting.

“After that big win on Josh Woods [at the 19th Anniversary pay-per-view], I think it’s best if I honed my focus in the right direction, which is why I’ve decided to submit my paperwork and join the Ring of Honor TV Title division,” said Castle. “I belong on top of that division because Ring of Honor needs me. We can’t afford to let things get dull around here. It’s a television program, for crying out loud. Where’s the pizzazz? Where’s the panache? Am I the only one here who’s thinking about the viewer?”

Later in the same video, Castle stated that he doesn’t just want to make ROH television even more interesting; he wants to make it an award-winning program.

“Ring of Honor has been known as one of the greatest wrestling companies in the world,” said Castle. “It’s anything but boring. So would I get in the ring and have a match with somebody if they’re gonna be boring? I want so much more from people that I’m in the ring with.

“I am focused because wins are everything. The more wins I have, then the higher I am in the rankings. The higher I am in the rankings, the more matches I have on TV. And the more matches I have on TV, the closer I am to accomplishing my goal. Because what I’m gonna do, I’m gonna win Ring of Honor a Golden Globe.”
