RUSH is back and better than ever.

RUSH recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated ahead of the ROH Best In The World pay-per-view in Baltimore. During the conversation, he confirmed that he had knee surgery and is feeling stronger and “ready to cause even more destruction.”

“It is very exciting for me to wrestle in front of a crowd again. Without the fans, wrestling is nothing. This show is called Best in the World, and I’ll show them why I am the best in the world. That is why I’m ROH champion.

“After my suspension [a story line where I and LFI were suspended for the month of May], I had surgery on my knee. I am now healthy and stronger than before. I’m back with a more powerful mentality, more violence, and I’m ready to cause even more destruction. My desire is to continue to be the best in the world.”

RUSH and La Faccion Ingobernable had been (storyline) suspended for a month on May 7 by Ring Of Honor in response to their actions at the 19th Anniversary show in March. The explanation given was that the group had attacked former ally Amy Rose and continued to use weapons in their matches, which resulted in the suspension.
