Report: Daniel Bryan Not Planned For Future WWE Merchandise Or Action Figure Releases

Daniel Bryan‘s future with WWE remains up in the air, but a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider indicates that the former WWE Champion isn’t part of the company’s plans, at least from a merchandising standpoint.

Bryan’s WWE contract reportedly expired earlier this year following his loss to Roman Reigns on the April 30 episode of WWE SmackDown. Previous reports suggested that the company was pushing to re-sign Bryan, but Johnson writes that WWE hasn’t been talking about Bryan’s return whatsoever lately.

“Internally, there has been no discussion of Bryan returning to WWE and he is not listed on the company’s roster,” wrote Johnson.

He also confirmed that Bryan is not internally listed on the company’s talent plans for merchandising in 2021-2022. Additionally, he is not planned for any future action figure releases as part of the company’s partnership with Mattel.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
