Josh Alexander faced off against Black Taurus during tonight’s IMPACT Homecoming event, where he put on a show in an excellent title defense of his X-Division Championship.
In a tough match that saw the two superstars go at it from the very start, it was Alexander who was able to gain some momentum late in the match. After surviving a flurry of an offensive comeback from Taurus, Alexander locked in an ankle lock on Taurus but couldn’t capitalize on it fully. After taking things to the top rope, Alexander landed an incredible flipping slam on Taurus that got the crowd going and Alexander fired up on the ground.
After both superstars began exchanging shots, they slowly got back to their feet, but Alexander ended things shortly after. After surviving one last outburst from Taurus, Alexander landed his finisher on his opponent and then pinned him for the victory, cementing another great title defense from Alexander.
