Sting Wrestles On TNT For The First Time In 20 Years, Beats 2.0 With Darby Allin

For the first time in 20 years, Sting wrestled on TNT this week. In a tag team match with Darby Allin, “The Icon” faced 2.0 in a Texas Tornado tag team match on AEW Dynamite.

Before the bout, 2.0 attacked Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley and called Allin and Sting out.

The match was wild from the start, as Sting and Allin battled 2.0 through the crowd and wound up in the skyboxes. The presence of Daniel Garcia helped the men formerly known as Ever-Rise take control. But Allin walked down the railing like a tightrope and dove onto his three enemies. Kingston then evened the odds by attacking Garcia.

Sting and Allin brought a table into the bout, but they didn’t get to use it right away. Instead, 2.0 suplexed Allin onto his own skateboard. The duo teamed up and powerbombed Sting through a table, but “The Icon” got right back up. He then hit a double Scorpion Death Drop on 2.0 and locked both men in the Scorpion Deathlock for the win.
