IMPACT Wrestling Draws Lowest Viewership Since July

IMPACT Wrestling viewership dropped significantly on August 26 coming out of the Emergence event on Friday night, August 20.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that 126,000 viewers watched the show this week, a small increase from the 126,000 viewers who watched last week. This week’s figure is the lowest since July 1 In the 18 to 49 demographic, the show drew a 0.03 rating on August 26.

Brandon Thurston also reported the following information about the show’s viewership:

Total viewership was down 22% from last week and 18 to 49 was down 35%. Viewer counts in thousands for this week’s episode with difference versus the median of the last four weeks in parentheses:

P2+: 98 (-17%)

P18-49: 34 (-32%)

M18-49: 30 (-30%)

F18-49: 5 (-17%)

P18-34: 13 (+225%)

M18-34: 12 (+243%)

F18-34: 1 (0%)

P35-49: 21 (-49%)

M35-49: 17 (-52%)

F35-49: 4 (-33%)

non-P18-49: 64 (-14%)

This week’s episode featured the beginning of the build to Victory Road with a match being made next week between Ace Austin and Tommy Dreamer. Should Dreamer win, he will be added to the world championship match at the upcoming Victory Road show.
