Karrion Kross has been released by WWE.
Karrion Kross was released by WWE on Thursday; PWInsider.com and Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp confirmed the news. According to Sapp, budget cuts were cited as the reason for the releases in an email sent to talent by John Laurinaitis. Scarlett, Kross’ valet and real-life fiancée, was also released by the company on Thursday.
After his signing was confirmed on the February 4, 2020 episode of WWE Backstage, Kross made his debut on the May 6 episode of NXT, defeating Leon Ruff. He is a former two-time NXT Champion and last worked for WWE’s RAW brand. His last match for the company was a WWE live event win over John Morrison on October 10 in Bakersfield, California.
