AEW Rampage Results (11/5/21)

On Friday Night, All Elite Wrestling delivered another edition of AEW Rampage. This week’s show featured some buzzworthy segments. Adam Cole faced John Silver in an exciting singles match, CM Punk and Eddie Kingston had an electric face-to-face meeting, and Red Velvet advanced in the AEW TBS Women’s Championship Tournament. Bryan Danielson was also in action, as he took on Anthony Bowens.

AEW Rampage (11/5/21) Results:

  • Bryan Danielson def. Anthony Bowens via submission
    • In what turned out to be a relatively quick match, Danielson took an early surge from Bowens and dominated later in the bout. Even thouh Max Caster interfered and tried to help his partner, Danielson persevered. In the end, “The American Dragon” made short work of Bowens by making him tap out to the LeBell Lock.

  • CM Punk and Eddie Kingston met in the ring for a face-to-face confrontation after “The Mad King” got in Punk’s face last week. After some heated back and forth on the microphone, Kingston challenged Punk to a match at AEW Full Gear, and “The Best in the World” accepted. Before they left the ring, though, Kingston said that when he beats him next weekend, Punk should lave AEW and “go away for another seven years” again. This insult clearly hit Punk, as “The Best in the World” gave Kingston a headbutt and the two began to brawl, with security eventually coming down to the ring and clearing them out.

  • AEW TBS Women’s Championship Tournament (First-Round): Red Velvet def. The Bunny via pinfall
    • Red Velvet made surprisingly short work of The Bunny, taking down her opponent early in the match and never letting up. In the end, Velvet countered The Bunny’s finisher before she put her opponent away with her respective finishing move for the victory.

  • Adam Cole def. John Silver via pinfall
    • In what turned out to be an incredible match, Cole emerged victorious after he took a blatant low blow attempt from Silver late in the match. Some interference from the Young Bucks influenced the outcome, and in the end, two superkicks and the Last Shot from Cole put Silver down for the count.
