Hogan vs. Sting at Bound For Glory, Shamrock Health Update

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the word coming out of the TNA locker room is that Hulk Hogan wants to face Sting in the main event of this year’s Bound For Glory PPV. It has been widely reported that Hogan is training for a potential return to the ring, and even Hogan himself has said that there’s a 50/50 chance that he’ll make a ring return.

While it is believed that there are still fans who would be interested in paying to see Hogan wrestle Sting again, the feeling right now is that it all depends on whether or not Hogan is physically able to work a high profile match at the company’s biggest PPV of the year. Keep in mind Hogan has had over a half dozen back surgeries in the past year.

ProWrestling.net is reporting that former WWE star Ken Shamrock appeared sickly at last Saturday’s "Legends of the Ring" convention. The reason for his poor health is because he recently contracted MRSA, which stands for Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, a bacteria infection that Shamrock contracted from his son while he was taking care of him. As a result of this illness, Shamrock was asked by officials to withdraw from his scheduled MMA fight last month. He is currently on antibiotics.
