Truth is walking backstage and he is talking to himself until Scott Stanford comes up to him to get his thoughts. Truth says he is getting letters from parents asking him to go back to dancing and rapping, but the kids need to take him seriously, since none of the fans do. He says he will take care of Miz, Alberto and Rey on his own terms, and tells Scott to say what’s up to little Ronnie.
(John Cena is in the back talking to Zack Ryder, who is showing Cena how to fist pump. Cena heads down the hallway and Zack keeps going the whole time Cena is walking. Cena turns around and laughs and he will be in the ring next.)
Miz and Riley are in their locker room and Riley is trying to reason with Miz and explain what happened. He says he didn’t know which hand Miz had the title in when he raised his arm, and it wasn’t his fault. Miz is not happy and says he is a low life and he doesn’t have brains. Riley apologizes again and says he will make it up to him and tells him to watch. Riley walks to the ring and says he knows what the fans think of him, but he doesn’t care because the only person whose opinion matters is the Miz. He challenges Cena to a match and tells him to get out there and throws the microphone up the ramp.
Alex Riley vs John Cena
Cena takes Riley down a few times then Riley hits a clothesline off the ropes and punches Cena on the mat. He follows with a side suplex then applies a rear choke but Cena gets out and hits a shoulder block, side slam and Five Knuckle Shuffle. He picks him up for the AA as Miz makes his way out, and slams him down as he stares back at Miz. Cena hits another AA and gets Riley to tap out to the STF and Miz backs up the ramp.
