RAW Opener:
John Cena comes out and says he won the Elimination Chamber last night and he will face the Miz at Wrestlemania! He says it should be a great night but all he has been hearing about since last Monday is the comments made by the Rock. Cena says he doesn’t know what to say, and he was going to let it slide because it’s the Rock, but they should look at the footage one more time and decide after that. Cena says after the excitement wore off, he thinks Rock was making fun of him, and he can call someone out but he only knows one way to do it. Cena says it has been awhile, but he still has a degree in Thuganomics, and he is going to do it this one time so he can concentrate on Wrestlemania. Cena cuts a wrap about Rock turning his back and makes fun of some of his movie roles and sexuality, then finishes it by laying the mic on the mat and leaving to cheers. (He came out to alot of booing but he won the crowd over with the freestyle. WWE writers, take note…)
John Morrison vs CM Punk
Morrison hits Punk with a forearm, but Punk drags him outside and slams his knee on the apron. Punk continues to work on the knee and hits a dropkick and applies a leg submission until Morrison gets to the ropes. Morrison punches away and runs at Punk but Punk kicks him in the injured leg and hits the GTS to take the match.
Winner – CM Punk
Punk asks for a mic and he screams for Randy Orton to come out, and he tells Orton that he gave Nexus the night off. He brings up Orton punting him and costing him his World Heavyweight Championship, and he tells Orton he won’t be at Wrestlemania. Punk says Orton doesn’t deserve to be there, and it will be because he is too injured to make it or because Orton cares too much about his health. Punk says he is going to hurt him badly if he shows up to RAW, and Orton answers by coming through the crowd and unloading on Punk! Punk retreats up the ramp and tells Nexus to stay back and stares Orton down as we go to a break.
