(Spoilers) More Detailed WWE SD! Taping Results For Friday

Report courtesy of Jeff Ahern and ProWrestling.net …

Throughout the show, they had several “best of” clips from Smackdown over the years. They showed HHH vs The Rock for the title, with Shawn Michaels as ref, with Shawn superkicking The Rock to save the title for Triple H. They showed the celebration when Eddie Guerrero was champion, which prompted a ton of Eddie chants. And they embarrassed Booker T by showing him getting beat up in a supermarket by Stone Cold. The announcers were clearly having fun when the last clip was shown.

1. John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, Edge, John Morrison, and R-Truth defeated Kane, C.M. Punk, King Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, and Drew McIntyre. Rey came out to a huge pop (wearing his SD Chargers themed ring attire), as did Orton and Cena, but Cena’s was clearly half boos, partly based on The Rock’s promo on Raw, which the live crowd still reacted to as it was being shown again during NXT. Rey got worked over for a majority of the match.

At one point, Rey was thrown through the ropes to the floor, where CM Punk was set up on the floor with his knee out, almost like a modified GTS. It looked awesome live, and is likely where they will edit in a a commercial break, as Punk stayed outside the ring talking to the cameraman for a couple minutes while the match slowed down, then hopped back on the ring apron as almost a signal to everyone else to “resume” the action.

Each team trading finishers at the end was stupid, as it is so cliche, but of course the live crowd enjoyed it. But the place absolutely went nuts when Rey hit the double 619, even though Dolph had to put himself on the ropes cause of a missed spot, but no one cared. San Diego loves Rey.

After the match, Vickie Guerrero told Edge he could go back to the hotel room and watch the rest of the show, as he was fired. After Edge left, a loud “Vickie sucks” chant broke out. Major heat on her.
