RAW Opener:
Vince McMahon makes his return to RAW, and he comes to the stage and says there’s one more thing that is bigger than the Super Bowl, and he’s talking about Wrestlemania! There is one special moment that separates each show and makes them stand out, and there will be a special guest that will be introduced next week. Vince says this person is capable of hosting an event bigger than the Oscars and the World Cup and we will meet him next week.
Randy Orton heads to the ring and addresses CM Punk, and says they aren’t even and he is just getting started. He tells Punk it will cost him a lot more than Husky Harris, and … Punk comes out to face Randy Orton. Punk says he needs to sit down, because he can’t believe he and Orton actually agree on something. He tells Orton he will tell him why he cost him the title at the Royal Rumble, then rolls a clip of Unforgiven 2008 when Orton and Legacy assaulted him and cost him the World Heavyweight Championship. He says Orton is cold and he doesn’t care that Punk had to forfeit the title, and Punk hasn’t forgotten and has been waiting for revenge. Punk tells him that he will never be champion as long as he is around, and says he won’t wait and is going to eliminate him now.
The rest of Nexus comes out and they walk to the ring and start to beat on Orton. He tries to fight them off and goes after Punk, but they hold him in place and tie him in the ropes, and Punk runs his mouth to Orton while wiping blood from his nose. Orton headbutts Punk then kicks him in the face and Nexus beats down Orton some more before placing him on Punk’s shoulders. Punk hits the GTS then kneels over Orton and raises his arm then leaves the ring with Nexus.
