Nexus is in their locker room and they are talking about the stipulations for Punk’s match tonight. Punk comes in and says they are too worried about things, because it is about sacrifice, like he sacrificed getting kicked by Mason last week. He got kicked but he beat John Cena, and they will all sacrifice themselves to help Punk win the Royal Rumble. Punk asks Husky if he has something to share, and he asks Punk what happens if he goes in at number one and is eliminated by the time they get in. Mason says that won’t happen and Punk says he doesn’t want hypothetical situations, but then McGillicutty asks him what to do about John Cena. Punk says Barrett made Cena’s life hell, not him, and they need to worry about themselves, and asks them to take a knee and they put their arms up.
Josh Mathews interviews John Cena, and Cena says he will be fair, but if Punk wins he will personally eliminate all of Nexus from the Rumble. He adds if Barrett wins, he will see that the Corre… then makes fun of the Corre’s spelling (way to keep killing credibility for PG’s sake) … before being interrupted by the Miz. Miz and Riley laugh off Cena’s stupid insults (they are stupid) and Miz says winning the Royal Rumble is a mistake. He says Cena missed what he did to Randy Orton and he’ll do it to him, and Cena dares him to try it right now. Cena says Miz won’t make it to Wrestlemania and leaves, then Miz asks Mathews and the fans if they think its true, before rolling footage of the beatdown on Orton last week.

The Miz vs Edge
Before they get underway, Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero make their way down the ramp and join commentary. In the ring, Miz and Riley test each other out before Edge punches Miz in the corner and hits an elbow off the ropes. Edge applies a hammerlock and Miz reverses but eats an elbow and gets set outside as we go to another break. When we return, Miz is control and Miz hits a knee off the ropes then kicks Edge in the face and gets a two count. Miz rakes back on Edge’s face and slams his head on the mat, but runs the ropes and gets hit with a neckbreaker. Edge sets up for a spear, but Miz ducks outside and Edge continues after him, and throws him into the barricade. Miz beats him inside of the ring and sets up a superplex, but Edge headbutts Miz away and hits a crossbody off the top. Edge whips Miz into the ropes then rushes him, but Miz dives out of the way and throws Edge ribs first on the ropes.
