DGUSA News: Title Matches Booked For Northeast Shows

Major matches have been announced at www.DGUSA.tv today. Here’s your DGUSA.tv Weekly Update:

-DGUSA "Freedom Fight" will premiere on pay-per-view this Friday, January 7th. DGUSA returns to satellite TV as this event will air on The DISH Network. It is also on iN DEMAND and cable systems all over North America. Check your local listings for time and channel. See Homicide and Austin Aries make their DGUSA PPV debuts this Friday!!!

-Jon Moxley sent in this promo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOWS7K2HrTc) on Monday challenging DGUSA Champion BxB Hulk to run the "Kamikaze USA Gauntlet" with the Open The Freedom Gate Title on the line. Hulk has accepted. That has set up these matches:

Jan. 28th – Manhattan, NY

Open The Freedom Gate Title Match

BxB Hulk defends vs. YAMATO

Jan. 29th – Philadelphia, PA
Open The Freedom Gate Title Match (if Hulk is still Champion)
BxB Hulk defends vs. Jon Moxley

Jan. 30th – Union City, NJ
Open The Freedom Gate Title Match (if Hulk is still Champion)
BxB Hulk defends vs. Akira Tozawa

-Tickets for all three events are now on sale in the DGUSA.tv Store or by calling 267-519-9744.

-Some interesting things to note here are that Moxley said he had someone else to address in his promo. We expect to hear from him again this week about that. The order of the matches here is interesting, too. Tozawa has not done anything to get into contention, but he would have the best shot at winning the title if Hulk can make it through the first two nights. That is a big "if." YAMATO has to be considered the toughest challenger of the three, especially with his history against Hulk. If Hulk gets past YAMATO, Moxley can pick at the scraps. If Hulk makes it through the "Kamikaze USA Gauntlet" he has to be considered one of the top Champions in the entire industry.

-In a related note, if Hulk loses the title on either the first or second night, his matches on the following events will have an added stipulation to make up for the fact that they will not be title matches.

-Jigsaw sent in this promo making a surprising challenge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F6YlWziS1BI

-We’ll have more matches and news at www.DGUSA.tv all this week. The DGUSA.tv Weekly Special will return tomorrow after being on hiatus since November. Thank you for reading.
