WWE RAW Results (1/3) – No Cena, Barrett Returns

Alberto Del Rio vs R-Truth

Truth hammers away at Alberto then hits him with a jumping side kick and knocks him to the ring floor. Truth hits a suicide dive and gets back in the ring to break the count as Ricardo Rodriguez (Alberto’s personal announcer) checks on him as we go to another break. Back to the match, Truth is furiously punching Alberto in the corner then hits a spinning powerslam but only gets a two count. Alberto goes on offense by holding the ropes on an irish whip and begins to work on Truth’s left arm. Truth tries to fight back and gets out of an armbar but hurts himself trying to float over Alberto by using the ropes.

Alberto continues the attack on the shoulder and yanks back on it then elevates it over Truth’s head to try and injure him further. He kicks Truth and tries a sitout splash on the ropes but Truth ducks and tries to recover while Ricardo tends to Alberto. Truth gets up and clotheslines Alberto, then hits a hiptoss with his good arm, but only gets a two count, and Alberto rolls to the ropes. He grabs Truth and rams his shoulder into the ringpost, then locks in the Cross Armbreaker and gets him to tap out.

Winner – Alberto Del Rio

Wade Barrett is addressing Nexus and says he helped make them stars and champions, and he can do that again, because CM Punk is selfish and is using them. Punk walks in and says he must be talking about himself, and says they are all pulling for him tonight. Wade leaves and Punk shakes each one of their hands as we go to another locker room.

Randy Orton is being interviewed and he says last year meant nothing, and the only thing he took from it was Miz cashing in and stealing his title. He says he was too nice, and he hesitated when he kicked Chris Jericho in the head. He says this year he won’t make the same mistake because nice guys finish last.
