UFC 122 Co-Main Event Canceled The Day Of The Event

In what came as surprising news to MMA fans, the co-main event of an already weak lineup for UFC 122: "Marquardt vs. Okami" show scheduled to air on tape-delay from Germany tonight on Spike TV at 9PM ET/PT was cancelled earlier today.

Scheduled to go on second-to-last, Alessio Sakara vs. Jorge Rivera was forced off the card for what as of this article is only known to be due to an illness suffered by Sakara.

The specifics of the illness is unknown as of this article, however it must be something pretty serious to force the cancellation of the semi-main event on the day of the event.

Fans too eager to wait for the televised viewing later tonight on Spike TV, you can check out a detailed UFC 122 spoiler report on the official MMA-sister site of WrestleZone, Sherdog.com.
