Hey guys my name is Michael Newman (Tannerack to some) and I just attened the WWE House Show in Denver….And first to say it was a great House Show, much better then the one I’ve been to in the Springs a year and a half ago…The lower part of the Pepsi center was near a sell-out and the top of it was blocked off, the people of Colorado love there WWE!
Here are the detailed results:
R-Truth def. Justin Gabriel with a quick roll up…A fun little opening contest. After the match Nexus attacks! Wade Barret makes some announcements regarding John Cena not beeing there and his main event match against Randy Orton later tonight
Alberto Del Rio def. Finlay….Everyone thought it was Hornswoggle but quite surprised it was Finlay (This is the match I went to the merchandise stand)
The Raw GM rings in and states “The people of Denver deserve a dance off!” It was a six-person Dance-Off with Melina, Vladimir Kozlov, Santino Marella vs. “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntrye, and Layla…Of course the face team wins after Cody Rhodes says we will impress you with a very very very Very X10 great dance, all they did was hold there title belts in the air lol….After the face team wins the Dance-Off the Heel team attacks and the 6-Person tag team match if offially under way.
Next we got Jack Swagger with the Eagle vs. Edge. Edge def. Jack Swagger with the Spear after he hits the Spear on the Eagle. By far the 2nd best match of the night!
Jack Swagger stays in the Ring ripping on the City of Denver saying “At least I’m staying, unlike Carmelo!” Lol I’m not a Denver Nuggets fan but that was absolutley hilarious….So this brings out The Deadman!
Undertaker starts to brawl with Swagger and this brings out Kane! After Swagger runs away, Kane and Undertaker have an absolute brawl with no match, which kind of pissed me off! After Kane leaves Swagger re-enters but gets a Chokeslam for his efforts, The Deadman poses to the crowd.
Intermission:
Sheamus def. John Morrison with his Celtic-Cross (Splash-Mountain Bomb) the crowd was really into Morrison! By far the 3rd best match of the night, Sheamus counters Morrison’s Star-Ship Pain, and turns it into the Celtic-Cross.
Main Event: Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett with the RKO, during the match Barrett uses the title on Orton right after the rest of Nexus excluding John Cena ran out to distract Orton, but of course Orton kicks out, shortly after Orton RKO’s Barrett to retain his WWE Title…
After the match Orton was 5ft infront of me and I just missed a High-Five (He’s my favorite)…CRAP!
Best WWE House Show I have been to by far and I’ve been to a few of them…Hope the WWE is back in Denver soon!
