Paul Heyman Produces Short Film To Promote MMA Game

Just five days after releasing the 2nd season premiere of The Heyman Hustle with Strikeforce Welterweight Champion Nick Diaz, Paul Heyman has released "A Short Film By Frank Shamrock," a Martin Scorsese-inspired black and white viral promotional piece for the soon-to-be-released EA Sports MMA video game.

This is the 2nd video Heyman has released through his new advertising firm Looking 4 Larry, which he founded last month with production partner Mitchell K. Stuart.

Shamrock is seen, somewhat shockingly, sitting in a rocking chair in the middle of an MMA cage. While the music from Scorsese’s masterpiece "Raging Bull" plays, Shamrock expresses how much he misses being in the cage, and how the gamer watching the video is his only hope to return to the greatest moments of his life, inside the cage.

It’s a tremendous personality piece on Shamrock, one of the greatest fighters in the history of mixed martial arts. In a story posted on The Heyman Hustle website, Heyman is quoted as saying "We’re very proud of this piece. Frank Shamrock is one of the true pioneers of mixed martial arts, one of the greatest fighters of all  time. Now, retirement has become his prison, because inside his body beats the heart of a fighter. Frank Shamrock isn’t the type to retire, he wants to fight. He’d love to enter the cage and compete again. Now, the only way for him to do so, is for the gamer to be Frank in the game."
