Homicide Returns At ROH PPV, Full Details Inside

Former Ring Of Honor World Champion Homicide returned at the promotion’s “Glory By Honor IX” show tonight, confronting new ROH World Champion Roderick Strong after his victory over Tyler Black in the pay-per view main event.

After his title-victory over Black at New York City’s Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom, Strong celebrated with Truth Martini. The fans in the Ballroom broke out into an impromptu “Thank You Tyler [Black]” chant, despite him mimmicking John Cena to an enormous heel reaction a few times during the match. Regardless, Strong extended his hand for a handshake with Black, but Black opted instead to flip him off and walk up the ramp.

From there — out of nowhere — the lights in the building went out. Fans watching on heard Jim Cornette yell about technical difficulties during the blackout. A few seconds went by before music hit. Former ROH World Champion Homicide appeared at the top of the ramp with his trademark bandana across his mouth. The man who recently left TNA Wrestling would end up in the ring as the fans in the Manhattan Center loudly chanted “1-8-7!” at him. Homicide got in Strong’s face, as you could tell both guys were talking to one-another. Strong raised his hand with the ROH title belt in it as the show went off the air on that note.
