Follow-Up: Dave Lagana Puts Over DGUSA’s Gabe Sapolsky

Yesterday, we reported that Ring of Honor creative team member Dave Lagana posted an exclusive blog over at The Heyman Hustle regarding tomorrow night’s NYC ROH show.

In an interesting follow-up to the story, it should be noted that Lagana’s reference to Gabe Sapolsky is one of the first public acknowledgments of Sapolsky’s ROH involvement since he left the company.

Lagana notes in his Hustle blog, "Ring of Honor was created in 2001 out of the ashes of the end of the Monday Night Wars, which saw two national wrestling promotions (WCW and ECW) close its doors within one month of each other.  Give credit to GABE SAPOLSKY, who saw the need in the marketplace for a unique product like ROH and helped create it; without him the question of “Is This The End?” would have been asked in the early 2000’s regarding the death of alternative wrestling."
