Long time Southeastern pro wrestler Ted “Nightmare” Allen was found dead in his home today by his girlfriend, as well as fellow pro wrestler and occasional tag-team partner Kyle Matthews. Allen was 54 years old at the time of his passing.
Allen and Matthews were scheduled to work a match for the Great Championship Wrestling (GCW) independent promotion in Phenix City, Alabama.
Allen had stayed active working random indy shots in the Southeast region of the United States, for the better part of 35 years.
Allen’s cause of death is believed to be a heart attack.
