WWE Raw Opener:

John Cena comes out to the ring and gets a loud extended pop before he talks about how Nexus took over and caused destruction. He says they were running things until last week when the RAW superstars came together. He says they are going to end Nexus and they’ll take them all out at Summerslam. He says they need to do it now before Nexus gets too much power and they takeover RAW for good. Cena says it won’t be easy but they will get the job done because he picked the right people for his team and… Chris Jericho comes out and interrupts him.

Jericho says it’s not Cena’s team, because he didn’t join to be on Cena’s team, he did it to resolve his issues with Nexus and Barrett. Jericho says he is more qualified and it is his team, and Cena says it’s his and he can call it whatever he wants. Cena doesn’t care whose team it is because he just wants to beat Nexus. Jericho continues to run his mouth and order Cena around, and pokes him, then Cena slaps the mic out of his hand and says he doesn’t care what their problems are, they are out there for the love of the business. He says they have to coexist, and he says Jericho is essential to the team. A ‘Y2J’ chant breaks out as Jericho picks up his mic and tells Cena to never do it again. He says he knows he is essential because he is the best in the world, and he sees the bigger picture.

Jericho says Cena is a threat just like Nexus, because he does whatever he wants and whenever, but the difference is he has the fans behind him. Jericho tells Cena after they take care of Nexus, he is going to take out Cena, and Cena says he is right there and to take his best shot. They get interrupted by a Michael Cole / GM email, and he informs them their Summerslam match will be an elimination match. He says they will have a preview of that match, when Nexus will take on seven RAW superstars in a match, and Jericho and Cena will team up against two opponents of the GM’s choosing. The last line says "if you’re not down with that, I got two words for you…"
