No UFC Mentions Allowed on Raw, Miami Wants WMania 2012

ProWrestling.net is reporting that the word coming out of last night’s Raw taping was that there was to be no mention of UFC at anytime during the live broadcast. If you noticed, no one ever mentioned Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was a UFC star and the closest anyone came to it was when The Bella Twins said they watched all his fights. Although Vince McMahon claims UFC is a different form of entertainment than WWE and the two companies are not competition for each other, it would appear the opposite is true given the circumstances last night.

The Wrestling Globe Newsletter is reporting that Miami is pushing very hard to host the 2012 edition of WrestleMania. It’s being said the city is "relentless" in its pursuit to host the event at The Sun Life Stadium, which can hold about 70,000 people. Additionally, the city wants to hold the Fan Axxess weekend at The Miami Beach Convention Center, and the following night’s Raw at The American Airlines Arena.
