Paul Heyman Speaks on Cung Lee vs Scott Smith MMA Fight

The Heyman Hustle is reporting the following:

StrikeForce CEO Scott Coker’s biggest show of 2010 just got bigger.

The San Jose, California-based promotion announced one of its most popular and tenured fighters, Sanshou legend Cung Le will return to the cage on Saturday June 26th against knockout artist Scott Smith, who shockingly nailed the uber-popular Vietnamese fighter in the 3rd round of their thrilling contest last December 19th.

“He got the best of me last time with a good punch,” Le said in the official press release distributed by Strikeforce last night, “We both fought our hearts out that night, but I’ve wanted a chance to turn the tables on him since that fight ended and now my opportunity is here. I am very excited to fight a warrior like Scott again."

The fact is, as our own Hustler De Tuti Hustlers Paul Heyman pointed out during a recent radio interview, Le dominated the entire contest almost in "Video Game or Action Adventure Movie fashion." Paul articulated, "The match was a highlight reel for Cung Le fans. He was doing improbable moves that you only see in Jet Li action flicks. Then, out of nowhere, Scott Smith brought home the reality of the cage in Round Three with one punch out of nowhere."
