TNA Impact Opener:
Eric Bischoff is the first to come out tonight, and he is clapping his way down the ramp. Eric loves each and every one of us, and he introduces Rob Van Dam. Bischoff says Jeff Hardy is next in line, but no one can find him. RVD says he likes defending the title because he can prove he’s the best. AJ Styles’ music hits and he makes his way to the ring with a mic. AJ says RVD needs to be a role model to the children, and he’s in a mood to hurt someone tonight. AJ says no one is here for RVD, they are here to see AJ Styles, because he is TNA, and he is not some Cheech and Chong sideshow. AJ is going to break RVD legs, and he will always be a chump. Jeff Hardy’s music hits and it looks like he is here tonight.
Jeff says he is late because he is used to being there on Mondays, not Thursdays, but he is ready for his match. AJ tries to put the breaks on this but Hardy says to make it a three way. RVD tells Bischoff to make the match and he does, and then AJ gets in Bischoff’s face and flips out for making the match official.
JB is in the back with The Beautiful People talking about Madison Rayne’s match with Tara and says they are going to get rid of Tara for good. Velvet says they will still have all of the gold after Sunday, and then Lacey runs away because she has to pee.
Tara yells at Sarita and Taylor takes Tara out while the ref tries to get them in the ring. Tara is begging her off but when Wilde runs at her Tara drops the rope and Wilde crashes to the ramp. Tara brings her inside and whips her towards the turnbuckle. Wilde jumps up and hits a springboard back towards Tara, but Tara reverses it and gets the pin as it looks like Wilde is injured. After the bell, Tara takes her kneebrace and beats Wilde with it until Sarita runs to the ring to make the save.
Winner – Tara
Backstage Christy Hemme rushes towards a crowd of people around Chelsea. Desmond Wolfe is trying to get to Chelsea and is screaming to get the camera out of the way as we go to a commercial.
