The SES came out next. CM Punk had some other fan support throughout the arena. Punk began to cut an in-ring promo, which MVP interrupted by saying, in speaking for everybody, CM Punk should just shut up.
Next, Rey Mysterio ran to the ring, and a tag-team match ensued, featuring CM Punk and Luke Gallows vs. MVP and Rey Mysterio. Luke Gallows got pinned and lost the match. He and CM Punk ended up backing down on the ramp for their exit (on their bottoms, in a sitting position).
Finally, Jack Swagger came out to massive heat, the likes of which I have never heard in my life. The volume in the arena was deafening. Swagger literally could not get one word out. He couldn’t even raise the microphone to his mouth with getting torn apart by the massive heat. This went on for far too long, about 20 minutes. I’m sure the length of time will be heavily edited for television. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the Big Show came out and knocked him out. He held up the title, and that ended the show.
