We are told by Jerry Lawler that Shawn Michaels will bid farewell to the WWE later tonight.

The former WWE Champion Batista comes out and he is not happy. The spotlight does not come on until he is almost in the ring. Batista says that he knows that all of ‘you people’ expect to see him throw a fit and complain about what happened last night, but he is not going to give them the satisfaction. Last night was a blip on the radar and a fluke. Next month, no one will remember Wrestlemania. The crowd chants ‘You Tapped Out’ at Batista. Batista says that he is entitled to a rematch and he will regain his WWE Title. He says that it doesn’t matter what happened last night, John Cena cannot beat him.

Cena says that there was a man who said that John Cena couldn’t beat Batista, but that guy must have missed Wrestlemania because John Cena did defeat Batista. After all of the talk about wanting the match at Wrestlemania to call himself the face of the company, if Batista is the face of the company he did not look too good before he tapped out. The crowd chants ‘You Tapped Out’ again. Cena says that nobody is going to forget Wrestlemania because Wrestlemania moments live on forever. Cena says that Batista can make history because Shawn Michaels will write the final chapter in his storybook career. As Shawn’s career ends, Batista can write a chapter in his history because he can have a rematch on maybe the most historic Raw ever. It will be Shawn Michaels’ farewell and John Cena versus Batista for the WWE Title. Cena says that this is when the other guy says that he doesn’t want to have the match tonight. Cena tells Batista to give everyone what they want. If Batista wants to be the face of the company, say yes and have the rematch tonight.

Batista says that everyone would love to see the rematch tonight, but it is not going to happen tonight. Batista tries to punch Cena but Cena blocks it and punches Batista. Batista goes to the floor. Jack Swagger hits Cena from behind with the briefcase and hits Cena in the back. Swagger wants a referee because he is cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Cena tries to put Swagger in the STF but Swagger escapes. Swagger says that the match is not going to happen.
