Rob Van Dam Signing With TNA, His Debut On iMPACT, & RVD’s Response To Him About Being The Angle Which Saw Him Beaten Down By Sting (And Why It Took As Long As It Did): "I saw Rob today and asked about the entrance, and asked about the angle and him getting the crap beat out of him for ten minutes. He said Hogan missed the mark; he was supposed to come in & do the save, and Hogan didn’t quite make it. It was kinda of funny how the whole conversation went down. It was different; it’s usually the heel who does the run-in. Why would a babyface do a run-in on a heel? They used to that in old ECW, so there was precedent to it, so we understand why it happened that way. Rob’s a talented guy; if he wrestles he’s gonna be terrific, and if he stays in the movie business, he’s gonna be terrific. He’s RVD…the guy just got it."

The hype backstage in the WWE leading into WrestleMania XXVI & if "The Animal" Batista is excited (or not) about ‘Mania & his forthcoming match vs. John Cena for the WWE Championship: "I believe everybody thinks these guys, because they are on the road all the time & overworked, they’re impervious to being excited about something. Everybody knows, all the boys know, the two weeks away before WrestleMania. It really is the Super Bowl, it really is the World Series…it’s everything for them. For many reasons, all the storylines lead up to the Pay-Per-Views, and all Pay-Per-Views lead up to WrestleMania. Everybody’s gonna get a bigger check; it’s a huge time of year, and everybody’s excited. Then there’s a week off, even though there’s Fan Axxess & appearances, but you’ll be in one city for a week…everybody’s jacked up. They’re playing it off like they’re not excited, but trust they’re excited, and all their paychecks are going to be huge. Everybody’s checks are going to double, triple, quadruple from doing one WrestleMania match. The guys in the Money In The Bank match are going to make a lot of money. So everybody is excited, and the next two weeks are very big. I can’t talk personally about how excited or not Dave Batista is, because it would not be fair & because we had a very intimate dinner last night. It’s a huge time of year, and if people say they are not excited, they are full of sh*t."
