The Wrestling Observer is reporting that prior to the 1/4 TNA Impact taping, Sting put Ric Flair over huge in front of the entire talent roster, saying that he owes all of his success in pro wrestling to Ric Flair. He went on to say that Flair put him on the pro wrestling map in the late 1980’s, and that in addition to being a friend, Flair is also a mentor to him. Sting also said that Flair is the main reason why he decided to stay on with TNA for another year so that he would have the opportunity to work with Flair once again.
