Daivari told us that he had numerous conversations in the past with people like Jeff Jarrett, Vince Russo and Terry Taylor concerning his character and he openly voiced his frustration with his position in TNA on several occasions. Rumors of an apparently large pay cut that Daivari was supposed to take, which have been reported on several other sites, are untrue.
Furthermore, Daivari said he felt that although he respects Vince Russo and the two always got along, he thinks that he doesn’t fit the mold of what a wrestler should be in the mind of Russo. Daivari shot down rumors that there might have been bad blood between him, Terry Taylor and Vince Russo. He said the three of them always got along, and the issues at hand were not personal.
Chris Cash and I spoke with Daivari about several other subjects including Hogan joining TNA and what he thinks will happen on January 4th. We will be posting the entire interview audio as an exclusive download soon, and be sure to check out The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show every Monday night from 7-9pm EST right here on WrestleZone!
