According to a new report by The Wrestling Observer, marijuana use on the Smackdown brand is said to be very low at this point, almost to where the roster could be described as "clean." This could be due in part by the fact that WWE recently raised the fine for failing a marijuana test to $2,500. In the past, when the fine was only around $1,000, the wrestlers were content with simply paying the fine so they could continue smoking. But it seems as if the new fine is too steep for some to continue smoking.
On the Raw brand, however, it appears as if marijuana usage has not dropped very much, and recent drug tests have seem to indicate that it's still a pretty big ongoing issue backstage for the Monday night show.
