Jon Orchard sent along the following: A bit of news from the UK: TNA Impact is now no longer showing on free to air television on Virgin one in the UK. Went to watch it this week (as it airs on Friday night over here) and it wasn’t listed. Looking online it looks as if as previously reported on WrestleZone, Virgin only did this as a trial period to get more fans into the TNA product and to get more viewers to watch it on Bravo where it usually airs on Saturday’s via Sky TV (pay tv). Will be interesting to see if Bravo get more viewers. Shame there is no more wrestling on free TV over here though!
Tom Baker sent along the following: Yet again the UK showing of SmackDown cut the CM Punk promo this week. I guess it is because of the product placement rules over here. Although they never cut out the DX promos which I think is strange. I will say the show was put together better this time around than last time.
