Couldn’t "someone" of mid-card status have come out to accept his challenge?

Although I have a hard time believing that no one in the Raw locker room would have tried taking on Sheamus when he made an open challenge to anyone in the back, the segment was well done.  They continue putting him over as a major player and that says something when the storyline is the same thing we see over and over with debuting talent.

Either way, it will only last so long.  They have to find a true challenger for him to work with soon in order to give him a complete rub that will allow him longevity as a top talent on Raw.
