Raw Ladder: Plenty Moved Up, But Not The Most Important One

UP A STEP

Randy Orton

Randy Orton

I wanted to take this time to foreshadow a bit.

Since his feud with John Cena has ended, they’ve moved Raw’s number one heel (no, I’m not including Jericho in that) into a program with Kofi Kingston.  So far, so good.  Kofi is getting a huge rub off of Orton and here’s to hoping that continues.  Additionally, through his on-and-off affiliation with Legacy, he’s also helping MVP/Mark Henry get over, albeit to a lesser degree.  Then, the inevitable break-up between him and Ted DiBiase (I’d assume him over Rhodes) is another feud I’m anxiously awaiting.

If all goes the way I think it can, Orton will be helping four young stars (five if you include Rhodes in that at all) get over since getting out of the title picture with Cena.  That’s a huge step up in my book and goes to show what top stars on your program can do when you concentrate on them putting over younger talent.
