DOWN A STEP: Degeneration X
Although I think this latest reincarnation of D-X has been put to good use for the most part, I believe they try a little too hard at times to be funny. The fact that they’re in the main event match challenging for the WWE Championship at Survivor Series doesn’t seem to be as serious as it should be. I’m aware that will change over the course of the next couple of weeks, but why wait? There’s plenty of time for Hunter and Shawn to throw in their wit and actually, it may be funny all the time if that they didn’t try and force the comedic segments every single week. Last night was just too much and fell flat.
