Very Detailed Recap Of Hulk Hogan On Larry King Live

Show started out with LK introducing Hulk Hogan and his attourney who was present in case any legal questions came up.

Hogan started out by plugging his book, talking about the rough times in America and how he feels his story can motivate people to keep moving forward to try and be happy.

LK asked if it was hard to write. Hogan mentioned everything being gone. Family gone, closets empty, animals gone. Mentioned a call from Muhammad Ali’s daughter, Laila.

LK asked about Hulk being close to suicide. Hogan said he really didn’t know. Says he thought it was for cowards. Claims it was the situation where everything was gone, couldn’t get a hold of family. Talks about sitting in a chair, sore knees and back. Just sat and stared for days. "Thought it would be easier to walk away from this whole situation, this world." Mentions Laila’s call again and how that changed the entire situation. LK asked about him having a gun in his hand during that time, Hogan confirmed it.

LK brings up Laila Ali again. Mentions she claimed that it was "divine intervention" when she called. Hogan brings up that he had all sorts of people calling him: Bubba, neighbor, Eric Bischoff. Claims he thought he was doing good at fooling them. Then mentions Laila’s call. Mentions how she saw how lost he was when he was served the divorce papers on the set of American Gladiator. She invited him to her church. LK asks about Muhammad. Hogan says how great he was and mentioned how Ali would come up and give him a hug and tell him he was the greatest. Also mentioned him reffing WM1.
