The Wrestling Observer is reporting that TNA made the decision to hire Lacey Von Erich strictly as a replacement for Angelina Love in "The Beautiful People" group. With the departure of Angelina Love from TNA, the group was in need of a third member, and despite her lack of in-ring experience, TNA decided to bring in Von Erich because physcially she fits the look of the group.
It’s being said, however, that TNA is concerned with Von Erich’s in-ring work, as she reportedly has less than 20 matches under her belt in the entirety of her pro wrestling career. Furthermore, she only lasted 4 months in WWE’s developmental system before being let go, with most feeling she was inadequate in the ring.
Angelina Love, meanwhile, is still living in Tampa Bay, but she is attempting to sort out her Visa issues. Because TNA replaced her so quickly, it looks like they don’t feel confident that Love will fix her problems anytime in the near future, so they’re proceeding without her.
Another concern for TNA is Velvet Sky, who although has been a pro wrestler for quite sometime now, is still green in the ring. TNA feels that they cannot rely on her to get the job done as a wrestler, and is hoping that one of the three current members of The Beautiful People will step up as Love did in the past when it comes time to wrestle.
