WWE.com posted the following today:
"WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar Eugene as of August 14, 2009. We wish Eugene the best in all future endeavors."
As you all saw, Eugene (Nick Dinsmore) just appeared on Raw last Monday losing a match with a masked superstar – revealed to be the Miz after the match – where the winner would receive a Raw contract.
Dinsmore was re-hired by the WWE last month and reports indicated he would be used behind the scenes to help groom younger talent. He never got the opportunity to start that position before being released by the company for the second time.
